It isn’t a clear photo, but take a look at this black car.
That’s roughly an inch of snow on top of it. Let me remind you, in case you are not paying attention, that today is the twelfth of May, which is supposed to be firmly spring in this part of the northern hemisphere. This is the latest that snow has ever been recorded in the region (earliest data from 1925). Harrumph.
Looks nothing like last Monday’s weather (my own local weather, which happened to be geographically located in Beltsville, Maryland).
I’d never been to the old part of the complex, with the neat old brick buildings, just to the boring, sterile new one.
