Apparently it really is spring now. It was sunny this morning, so I went to check on the cute little crocus.
It has many friends now.
On my way to the crocus patch, this was the first thing I saw.
I had to hunt a bit for its likely companion in the front bed – most of the daffodils are in the side beds, and it’s still too soggy to go hunting.
The red maples have been thinking about flowering for close to two weeks, but now they’ve made up their minds to do it.
Nice to know that millennia of astronomical wisdom might be right.
Edit: But then, maybe not – we’re supposed to get a couple of inches of snow tonight and tomorrow.
